Sculpting Design

wet dough owlGrab a pinch of dough and start rolling out the dough as if you were making cookies. Slightly indent for the owl eyes; you can watch this in our how to video.

Baking Your Design

Bake your owls at 170 degrees for 60 minutes. Dough must be baked until it is solid hard all the way through. Use the lowest temperature setting that you have or just leave out to air dry.

Painting & Varnishing

Use acrylic paints or food coloring to add a design.  After the paint is dried, cover your rings and brooches with 2 to 3 layers of varnish to seal out moisture.

We would love to hear your fabulous ideals so just leave them below and thank you for stopping by the studio, please subscribe before you leave.

Have a great day and keep creating.
